Multiple accounts and netteller.

I've noticed that Party has became a bit of a ghost town since American's were banned, and was thinking of opening a new account with Stars or Fulltilt (they seem to be where the action is at). Although I wouldn't mind keeping some money in my Party Account. Has anyone experience with netteller and transferring funds online using it? It seems like a good idea because all my online funds are tied up in gambling sites, I could use it if for some reason I want to transfer a lot of funds across to one site to make a big bet or play a high-stakes game.

I dont know why anyone outside of the U.S. uses Neteller. The currency conversion rate they give is a joke, never mind the extra fee they charge to do the conversion. I lost alot of money going through them, never again. If you can use laser or credit they are much better options.

does the cc company not take a sizable chunk for conversion too?

I don't know what it's like now, but at the time I took out my money the Neteller exchange rate was significantly worse than what my bank was offering or the rate on the poker sites themselves.

Why set it up in $?

If the exchange rate they give is sh1t, surely it would be better to set it up in euro and deny them the opportunity to pound your a$$?

CC conversion rates are not bad at all...its their bread and butter business with foreign travel etc so they are quite competitive

No, because then they only get you once. When you cash out or put money into Neteller.

And not everytime you move money from one site to another.

To lodge directly into Neteller is 2.5% from a CC. To get around this you can lodge with a CC to an online account, and withdraw into Neteller for free and then distribute it for free also.

Neteller also allows you now to deposit to it from your internet banking in ireland, but I am not sure what the rate is.
