Finally he has been caught with his foolish betting. Seat 8 has A Q suited. One of the best hands you can start with in Texas Hold 'em.

right on brother, right on! :o

    another fundamental theorem

"I have to say this may be a fluke, (of course all of this is just my observations and is not a scientific study by any means) but I have noticed online more often then not when someone goes all in against someone with a bigger stack. The bigger stack player will win"

That's quite a disturbing website. Maybe it is rigged after all. You can't really ignore cutting edge analysis like that...

Also, did I not notice a hand when the main pot of something like 2500 went to an all in guy (not seat 9, but seat 4 I think) with K9 when a K hit even though the idiot says seat 9 won it with a Q on the flop holding Q8? I think he say something like 'He paired a Q and everyone else missed their pairs' when the 2 other guys held AJ and K9. There is def a K on that board, and no 8. Seat 9 did win a sidepot though for around 400.

the undeniable proof we have all been waiting for, close down all accounts and withdraw all of your money now, it's rigged.

LOL, 'all comments must be approved by the blog author'

I wonder does having to spend hours emptying his trash folder make him say 'hmmmmmmmmm'

I don't think online poker is rigged, you see many bizarre things because basically there is 2 to 3 times the amount of hands that you see in a B & M poker game and also people just do some crazy things, anyway I've been playing online poker for about 5 years and I've gone through some crazy non luckylucky spells that taken in isolation would provide a lot of evidence to me that online poker is rigged but on the flip side I have hit crazy lucky lucky runs to balance these out.

However the one thing I am really bemused by is something I call or have someone else call 'The Tribeca Special', I've seen it so many times where a hand like AK is up against something like 44, where the flop comes down AKx and if I'm the one with AK I actually begin to think I'm in trouble it's got so that the bad beat is that predictable. There seems to be so many runner runner flushes, runner runner straights giving the more unlikely outcome by river, I've been both the victim and beneficiary of this and I've seen it happen to many others time and time again it's uncanny, to be fair I've seen it mostly in multi-tournaments where of course you see more dodgy hands getting involved so I guess you will see more dodgy outcomes.

Anyway in general I don't hold with the paranoia about online poker, so please tell me I'm just imagining this particular one, or maybe it's just variance!? It never would be some sort of glitch in the tribeca software, could it?
