Incoming and outgoing mail server is mail1.eircom.net, POP3.

Download Thunderbird, Eudora, Acorn ... anything really other than Outlook. Though it has improved immensly (Outlook express and the Outlook in MS Office are two completely different products).

You need to put the user name (usually the bit in front of @eircom.net) and password for SMTP / Outgoing server too, or eircom won't let you send mail.

Send email to yourself to test it.
