Second chance offers from creative's ebay store?

    I bid for a usb soundcard yesterday which I did not win, but today when i checked my ebay messages I have a second chance offer from creative for the amount I bid. Anyways i didnt think big companies did second chance offers on ebay ( dell have a big warning saying they dont). Anyways the offer ends around nine in the morning so i have no time to contact them to confirm this is legit. Anyways, just wanted to know has anyone else received a second chance offer from creative labs europe and if so, they it go through ok.

    Sounds a bit doggy specially as it looks like they only gave you a few hours, normally they give you a few days, I think in ebay you can also see if they did offer a second chance I think it in in the "My ebay" page.

    Did you check url to make sure it points to ebay.ie/, cgi.ebay.ie/ pages.ebay.ie/ or something like and not like ebay.ie.fake.com/, just put the mouse over the link in your mail and check your status bar to see the real url.

    Second chance offers are a legitimate way of selling more than one item on ebay. I have used it a few times to sell although the vast majority of folk ignore it and bid on the same item for more price with another seller!!!

    The minimum time period is 1 day which is what I tend to use based on the fact that the person has just bid on my item, it will not take them more than 1 day to decide if they would actually like to have the item.
