I fold.

IS this standard? If this flop is 773 I commit to hand.
I feel he either has made hand ie set or straight..Which I am A BIG dog to or a big draw AXd which I am only a little ahead, and behind to some....

I am bad at sussing out texture of boards and using that to make decisions as to how to proceed....!! Advise!Ty.

This is one of those situations where we are either absolutely destroyed or marginally infront of a combo draw or a pair + draw like J10

We are flipping with those hands [literally 50/50] Lloyd so you would have to have a killer read to put him on that

Also, I would never call here unless I was sure he had no pair and no draw. If I was continuing with the hand at all I would be shoving

fold for me too.

i used to brain fart on these and push but i was behind far more than i was ahead.

ive learned my (expensive) lesson.

Don't think I fold this....

The over bet looks to me like he is protecting top pair or trying to push you off with a draw.

Could well be a leak in my game but I think you are ahead here more often than not....I push....

I think villian with these TAG stats does this with sets, big draws and sr8's.

Him protecting to pair is the best hand that we can hope he has.

Villian is betting twice the pot, I think it is very rare you will see ANY Villian do this with a set....

its my inability to fold here that loses me alot of money. I get AA or KK and i wet myself, in this situation only and connection failure will stop me pressing the call button (yes, the call button) because i won't have thought it threw to push or fold, i do have KK afterall... trust me, i'm working on this. I think your decision to fold is correct, i go broke here cos i only have 30 seconds to make my decision, give me 3 or 4 mins and i can put it down... the internet does not suit me! good fold i say!

A set should do exactly this on a heavy drawing flop like this, straights and flushes. Maybe JJ or QQ, depends on villian, but AA would do it too.

I would call nearly every single time here, if u get out draw well then thats tough. But if you see a scary flop like that alot of the time would people lay down KK or AA??
