DS Lite Availability

Anyone know a shop selling DS Lites? Seem to have become like hens teeth since the weekend. Damn Nintendo!! Let's get all these punters back for deserting us to Playstation, bring out the Wii surround it with hype and then only make a couple of hundred available!

Had plenty in GameStop, Henry St last week, HMV too.

I would be surprised if you had trouble locating one somewhere.

Bullshit, you can't do ironing on a game console.

Was in Virgin at the weekend and they said they've sold completely of out DS Lites. Plenty of PSPs in stock though, heh.

Virgin in Dundrum are getting a delivery on Wed. I over heard them telling someone this at the counter. Actually I have to say that the customer service in their yesterday was excellent. They had plenty of people out on the floor answering questions and getting stock from stock rooms that might not have been on the floor.

Smyths have a shipment coming in on the 18th according to their website.

Argos in Dun Laoighre (sp?) have them in stock.

Yeah, and in store they said they're guaranteed not to run out following this shipment.

The guy I spoke to said Nintendo have promised that this shipment won't run out before Christmas.

Sorry, forgot to mention it's for Christmas, it says usually dispatched within 10-14 days, a bit too risky, this could be for a daughter, niece or somebody else who believes in Santa still, I'm not sure:o Thanks for the suggestion though!

Actually, I don't think it's even in stock there, I see a random game I clicked said "in stock" where as the DS says usually dispatched within 10-14 days so I don't tihnk it would make it:(

They got a shipment of pink ds lites in smyths in blanch tonight as i was there, about twenty of them still available if anyone is looing for one.:D
