    Hi,

Im selling a few OEM nVidia Quadro FX cards on eBay, standard PC centric stuff. I get a lot of emails from Mac owners asking if the Quadro FX 1400, 3450 and 4500 work on the Mac Pro Quad. I know non-Intel Macs could generally not use PC cards as the BIOS on the cards were different, however with the new Macs sharing the Intel platform, are things different?

    Info here might help.

But this offers a different view and interesting news !

I think "out of the box" the answer is no, but if you're prepared to sacrifice a card you may have some success by flashing a PC card with Mac firmware.

I think the card needs to work with EFI, as the Mac uses EFI already, whereas most PC's still use old fashioned BIOS.

That's true but there are many sites about dedicated to compatibalising ( ?) "PC" cards for the Mac and top of the list is Video cards ?

    Google is your friend !
