    Walsh's.

Is The Muddy Boot still there? I think pints were OK there too.

the best pub - IN THE WORLD - for guinness, is Walshes of Stonybatter. I live near it now but it has ruined guinness for me everywhere else, it just tastes like piss everywhere else since I tasted Walshes magic...
So maybe you should give it a miss

We are paying so much for the stuff that it should be the same consistency everywhere

    Walshes you say.

I am an infrequent Guinness drinker but whem I am partial it has to be good and with the shortest ammount of pipe from barrel to tap.

    Thanks.

I'd have to go with Walshes too. Kavanaghs at the top of the road used to be great but it's years since I was there.
