Firstly, mods if this is not the correct place for this, please feel free to relocate.

Does anyone know of a way to repair or replace a zipper in jeans? I've attached a picture to help you all get an idea what's wrong. Basically, some teeth are missing on one side of the zip meaning the zipper keeps coming away and will continue to do so until I get it sorted.

    Thanks for any helpful comments.

There are places that do repairs, most fry cleaners do them or they can refer you on to someone that will.

I checked 2 dry cleaners and they said I'd have to bring them to a tailor who would most likely charge a bomb. If you have any recommendations I'd be most grateful!

Last I heard to change out a zip when the zip is applied is about 20 quid.
You can get a new zip in trimmings on the quays or in hickeys.

There are lots of little places around that replace zips, and i dont remember it being too expensive. i've used Snip&Sew in stillorgan (on the Hill), and a little place in Dun Laoghaire, up the side street facing Penneys.
