I'll believe it when I see it in Virgin.

BTW is that Mahogany of The Un?His work on Un or U Out was brilliant.
While there are no confirmations why the album has taken so long, many speculate that Detox's tracks have gone to the likes of Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes and The Game, who have all benefited from the productions of the incomparable beat maestro.

The album was initially announced around 2002, planned for 2004 and people have been waiting since.

Even The Game, one of Dre's affiliates quipped, "I might just put out Detox myself" on "Compton" from Doctor's Advocate.

The album boast appearances, production and assistance from several top artists like Eminem and producers like Kon Artis, Nottz, Mahogany, and Hi-Tek.

Dr. Dre's last album 2001, came in 1999 and was a phenomenon on a pop level as well as amidst the Hip-Hop community.

There was actually an interview with Hi-Tek in the latest HHC and he hadn't a clue what was happening with Detox so...

As an aside, am I right to believe the Alchemist is now producing the new Eminem album?Hell I may even download that over rated clown's newest if thats true.

theres a track on eminem's re-up called ''no apoligies''(can't spell it) which isn't too bad. and to go back on topic i've seen a 31 second interview on youtube with dre and Bishop Lamont in it sayin its defo gonna be out then (yeah right)

ya that track No Apolgies actually isnt bad at all. but again to even the odds he made that terrible one with Fiddy, Lloyd banks and some other piece of sh*t.
Itll be interestin to see how Detox turns out-not expecting much, only thought 2001 was ok...eminem, snoop etc were much better then also. we could see the likes of fiddy and g-unit, the new mobb deep etc turn up regularly here. then again we could see Raekwon, Rakim and others on too
