    Hello,
Can anyone tell me if its possible to record from Chorus digital to a DVD Hd recorder. I have recently moved and can't seem to pick up Chorus through the Philips DVD hd.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,
    Thanks for the reply.

I still can't pick up Chorus. Scanning the internet somebody states that you need a digital signal detector to be able to record. My DVD HD is doesn't have this facility. Its also very confusing because Chorus has its own recording menu and so does the HD.

Really? What does it record to? Do Chorus have PVR's they haven't told people about?

The "record" function on Chorus digital just sets the decoder to the specified station for the desired start time and duration. ( you can set three in advance I think ) You must still record to your VCR/DVD/HD or whatever ..... it is just that you are blocked from accidently changing the station on the Chorus box during the recording.

Hey Com7, would dearly appreciate some assistance. I also have a sony DVD recorder Model HX 710 and can't get it to record what I am watching on Chorus.

What do you mean by selecting the ext on DVD HD Device?

    Thanks,
    PK.

    Use SCART cable.

    Manually select channel on Chorus.

Select the appropriate SCART in (not TV aerial tuner) on the DVD recorder record menu

Don, can you tell us how you have the recorder connected?

Where all the cables are plugged in.
