How to connect to xbox 360 Live?

I have just bought an xbox 360. It's downstairs connected to my luverly Sony Bravia HD TV. Upstairs I have a PC with eircom broadband connection. At the moment I'm using an ethernet connection though I see that I could connect wirelessly.

What is the best way for me to go 'live' with the 360 and what do I need to do so?

If there are different alternatives I'd like to know. Any help much appreciated.

You could run a cable down to the sitting room if you want a cheap setup but if you want a wireless setup you can either go for the wireless adapter for the 360 (about €80 in shops €50 from eBay IIRC) or you can go for a wireless bridge which is about €50-€60 but will require its own plug and can be a little bit more complicated to setup.

Thanks Ciaran. Basic question. I have a phone point at the tv so can I hook from there as is ... if you know what I mean?

I'm 99% sure you can only have 1 modem setup per phone line. So if you wanted to move the modem close to the TV you will have to find some way of getting the connection back to the PC.
