Two Live PLO Hands

    1. I have about €320 or so on a 9 (or 10) handed table and limp for 2 in MP with AKxx ss for some reason. Button raises to 10 and I call along with 5 (or maybe 6) others. Flop is AK3 rainbow. I check along with everyone else. Turn is a 7 and gives me the nut flush draw. It's checked to me and I bet €50 folded to the SB who moves in for €200, folded to me. SB is a bit of a gambler type with some definate bluff in him. I dunno if he has a full tank bluff in him though. Another consideration is that I called him with fúck all on the river when he was bluffing in a decent sized pot earlier in the night.

Call or fold? Play up til then? I know preflop sucks ass.

    2. I have around €90 having lost most of my stack a couple of hands previously. I'm in the SB with QQJTss. There's a blind raise which most people call and then the button pots for 30 or so. Button was busy preflop when we were short handed but seems to have rocked up on a full table which almost certainly means he knows what he's doing. I'm not on tilt but most of the table would think I am. Action?

First hand sounds like the type of hand that gets me in trouble a lot. I think most of the time you are behind to a set here, and this being the case you are getting 2/1 on a 3/1 shot (assuming an A or K is live outs), so you should fold, but I probably don't most of the time, mostly due to the fact that he checked it twice.

Hand two I shove every time with 90 left only.

Hand 1: Bet that fookin flop. Based on the villain it's a standard enough call on the turn.

Hand 2: If he has junkie aces you'll be in ok shape (60-40 dog or so). Even against a hand like AAKQ you still have about 30% equity. Ship it in there if you feel like gambling.

    Ya call hand 1 instantly.

Hand 2 I fold or maybe just call here and make a point of folding almost no flops. Then reload next hand.

What are the chances that the raiser has a set ?
If you reckon he has a set 70% of the time here (say 3 sevens), you have 13 outs, then doing some rough calculations, you will win 2/7 of those times i.e. 20%..
For the other 30% of hands, lets say he is bluffing half the time, and has some kind of draw the other half. So you should win about 25% of this 30%.
    That’s 20% + 25% i.e. 45% in total, so you have an easy call.
Against most opponents, this is a +EV call.
Ianmc38 is right. You should have bet that flop.

Hand 2 – I would probably ship it. Other hands will find it difficult to call with the button still to act. Heads up, you would be unlucky to be too much of a dog here, could even be favourite (depends on the button’s range of raising hands).

Hand 2: I would just call, hoping to get others in the pot. I think this hand plays better in a big pot.

Hand 1: I am inclined to fold...i am not sure what the percentages are for a Flush Draw and 2 Pair against a set with only the river to come ( i would be interested to know if anyone has pokerstove)

with that stack in that game I try to get that 90 in the middle preflop every time with that hand. then either quintuple up or reolad.

Hand one: lead flop, go broke.

    1. I called. I'm happy enough with it. Still undecided about whether to bet flop or not. He had top set which was good on the river.

    2. I shoved. I think a call for a multiway pot is blatantly better. AAxx was good on the river.
