    Hi,

I just purchased a new Philips 26PF5521D - 26" Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV and a new Dell Dimension C521.
I need to know what connection leads I need to put the two together.
    Can anyone help me?

    Cheers,
    Owen

What input ports does the TV have? What output ports does the computer have?

    Hey Tom,

    Thanks for replying.
The inputs are listed as follows for the TV:
    Inputs: 1 composite, 1 S-Video, 1 component, 1 VGA, 1 RF

For the PC the ports are as follows:
    Externally Accessible
    Video: 1 DVI, VGA and 1 S-Video (with add-in PCI-Express video card)
    USB: 6 Ports (2 Front, 4 Back) + 2 internal
Audio: Audio – six back-panel connectors for line-in, line-out, microphone, rear surround, side surround, SPDIF interface in rear, two front-panel connectors for headphones/microphone, integrated 7.1 channel sound

    Cheers,
    Owen

vga to vga is probably your best bet for convenience (you will get very decent picture quality with that). I use that for my projector and it's spot on.

Just make sure the computer outputs at the native resolution of your new TV.
