Ordering a Custome Built HCPC online

    Hi all,

    Been a while since I've posted anything on boards so hello firstly.

    Anyway, I'm looking to order me (in the next couple of days - with delivery before Christmas if possible) a HCPC/HTPC online. I would like to be able to custom build the system and pick and choose what components I'd like it it. Something along the lines of Aldi's Recent Sunday offer would pretty much fit the bill in terms of components, but maybe with a Silverstone case?

    I'd like to purchase some Hauppauge stuff as well - either the 150 or 250 pvr (any advice greatfully appreciated) and about 4 of the Media MVPs.

    Any suggestions?

    That Medion system is a pretty decent one but the tuner isn't that great as it has no A/V inputs like s-video or composite.

    You could consider gutting the Medion system and transferring the parts into another case like one from Silverstone.

    As far as picking & choosing components for a pre-built system there isn't a lot. Almost all the options I've seen so far are pre-built systems with little to no customization choices & parts to build a HTPC yourself.

    Komplett is the only one that I've seen which seems to sell HTPC system with the level of customization you desire.

    As for Silverstone cases Pixmania.ie is the place to check or Kustompcs.co.uk for most of their line up Komplett only sell two types of Silverstone case.
