Where have comics gone?

When I was young - there was Whoopee, Buster, Victor, Battle etc?

These were great entertainment.

I looked at a news stand recently and It was all celeb fanzines and womens mags.

The Beano is still there.

The Beano and Dandy are still going but I've only ever seen them in Eason's or supermarket's for anything else you have to go to a comic shop in town since they've been pretty much marginalised.

I think my local shop still has Beanos and Dandys, not sure, it's been years since I got them. I remember Busters as well.

I havn't seen comics in my local for a long time. They were great, do kids not buy them anymore?

practically all the titles you mentioned arent on sale in comic shops . in the main they deal with the american books. your best bet is easons to get em but as has been mentioned you'd be hard pushed to find em (im pretty sure at least two of em have been cancelled):(

I shouldn't have sold all my Beano and Dandy comics for 5 punt in 3rd class.

Yup I forgot to mention that all but the Beano and Dandy have been cancelled and I was referring to Spider-man, Batman etc. when I said most others you could get in comic shops, sorry if I wasn't clear I was in Italy and being rushed by a friend since our time was almost up.
