Novice needs book advice.

    Hi. I'm looking for a recommendation on a good book to read to improve my Poker playing.

    I play 9 seater STT on PPP at the $3 level mainly. I'm ITM just under 60% which i'm reasonably happy with.

    The main problem with my game is i basically have one strategy. Tight to begin and try to pick up a few small pots then agressive when i get near the bubble!

    Any ideas?

    also.... im wondering about a bankroll. How much do you reckon i should have in my account before moving on to $5 STT and $10 STT's

    I found this article to be of some use when it comes to STTs, though I'm not playing many any more. Its quite a basic strategy though, but seems to be good for low buyin STTs.

    €200+ BR for $10 STTs.

    Oh and regarding books, Harrington on Holdem volumes 1&2 are great for tourny play.

    That strategy will comfortably work for you for a few more STT levels on PPP, up to at least $15.
    Re books, I'd agree with the HOH1/2 recommendation.
