Hi all,

Having spent all day yesterday in the hospital with my youngest (he needed surgery on a finger that was caught in a door - that's him on the left below at the NEC bike show this year with his brother) it struck me how lucky I am to have a healthy family and how I, like a lot of people I’d imagine, take for granted, the magnificent work that the folks at Crumlin do on a daily basis.

As a "biker", I’ve decided to take part in the 2007 Whole Way Round trip in order to contribute in my own small way to the Children's Medical & Research Foundation at Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

The total required is €1000, of which I need to have the deposit of €250 paid by Jan 23rd (bet you can see where this is heading already...)

Anyhow, I've created this thread (with Devore's permission - thanks Tom) to try to get you good folks to part with some of your hard earned cash!!!

I realise this is a bad time of the year, with the expense of Christmas etc, so even a donation of €1 would be appreciated - every euro counts.

If you wish to donate, you can do so by sending it via paypal to conordotmooreatgmaildotcom (replacing the bold letters with the symbols . and @).

Thanks one and all for reading...

Ha, I registered for it also. I wonder how many boards people will do it?

My 8 year old daughter wants to do it with me. A bit too young?

A couple of people have pm'd me asking if there was any way of donating other than paypal. So if you'd like to donate, but don't use paypal, then you can send the donation to me at:

Conor Moore,
68 Rossvale,
Portlaoise,
Co. Laois.

Thanks once again for the support!

Hi all,

Just wanted to sat a big thank you to everyone that contributed to this so far - I have just paid my deposit today, thanks mainly to the generosity of Biker.ie folks, where I had a similiar fundraising thread running

Subway deserves a special mention for his generous donation thumbsup2.gif

Still accepting sponsorship from anyone that wants to donate to this great cause - cash or cheque to Conor Moore, 68 Rossvale,
Portlaoise, or via Paypal to conordotmooreatgmaildotcom

Don't forget, as Chunkylover says, there's only 17 places left open for this ride (out of 100) so get in there quickly if you want to go...

Thanks once again... thumbsup2.gif
