TV Awards 2006 - Back With A Bang!!

    OK.. so am taking over JBoyle4eva's duties with regards the Television Awards this year as he's unavailable to carry them out. And since they were quite successful when they last run.. thought we'd give it another blast for this year.

    Firstly, the categories for this year remain the same as they were for the last TV Awards:
      Best Comedy
    • Best Storyline
    • Best New Character
    • Best Cameo Role
    • Best ‘Phowarr’ moment
    • Best Programme
    • Best Reality Show
    • Best Kids Show
    • Chat Show Of The Year
    • Lifetime Achievement
    • Best Documentary
    • Best Drama
    • Most Memorable Scene In A Show
    • Biggest Shark Jumper
    • Best Actor/Actress
    • Best of the Best
    • Best Character
    • Character You Love To Hate Most
    • Best TV Moment Of 2006

    If you however have a suggestion for a new category (or a general suggestion), pop it in the 'Suggestion Box / Comments' sticky at the top of the forum and if it's a reasonable request and not too far into the nominations category, i'll consider adding it.

    We probably don't have enough time for the five phases as proposed by JBoyle4eva in the original format so we'll cut it down to just the simple three:

    1. Nominations
    2. Voting
    3. Results

    Details of each stage described below:

    1. Nominations

    Begins: 6th December 2006
    Ends: 17th December 2006

    From today (to the 17th December), you can put forward up to and no more than 3 nominations for each category in the nominations thread which will be popping up all over the forum shortly.

    On the closing date, everyone's nominations will be put together and the top 5 nominations in each category will be put up for the award to be voted for by yourselves.

    2. Voting

    Begins: 18th December 2006
    Ends: 31st December 2006

    A poll consisting on the top 5 nominated in each category will be put up and you can vote for one in each category. Will leave the thread open for comments but don't wanna see a long discussion. Simply a comment on your vote if you wish will do. And respect each others votes.. any personal insults or monkey business and you're OUT!

    The thread will be closed on 31st December and votes will be counted.

    3. Results

    Announced: 1st January 2007.

    Votes will be counted and will be announced on the 1st January.
