    Hi All,

Sorry if this is a very basic question....

Monasterevin? You can't. Too far south.

What about wales? A no-go as well?

I don't think you have much of a chance of receiving Wales DTT - I haven't heard of anyone even in Dublin receiving it...

Wales is technically possible in some places, but not Monasterevin.

You may be best suited to getting a FTA Satellite System, all the bbc's, itv's, film 4, men and motors, copious amount of news channels, 10 music channels and mmuch much much more.

    Sounds interesting MJ.
Any links to more info/prices? This sounds like to way to go.

    Cheers

Pop in to the Satellite forum (under this one) for more info. But basically, you can buy a Dish and Receiver (and all the other little bits needed) for under €200 and that is all you will have to pay from then on, well apart from your tv licence.

There are many places to purchase, personally I use Tony over at satellite.ie , but you can also buy kit off Maplins or even Lidl when they run their offer. Don't be put off by Lidl, it is not the greatest kit out there, but it is far from the worst.

Anyway, as I said, pop into the forum, have a breeze around, read the stickies at the top and after that, ask questions!
