Yay! My lovely 30Gb 5G's headphone jack is pretty screwy atm -- I have to wiggle the connector & hold it in place to get right audio.
I checked that it's not a headphone problem (it's not); so where can I go from here? :( iPod's only bought in June.

Bring it back to where you bought it for repair, refund or replacement.

Or go through the apple website directly. They will send DHL to your door to pick it up and return it.

    Alright, thanks guys.
I'll find out where it was bought (present, natch); if shop can't help, off to Apple it is.
Don't think I'll bother backing up most of the music as I still have most of my CDs though.

Not sure if it is still the case but I know a few people who just went into whatever shop was nearest to inquire how to go about returning their iPods and the shop just offered to replace it no questions asked. Somethign to do with whatever refund/replacement policy Apple had. Might be worthwhile just going into your local Dixons or whatever and ask.

Got my 30GB ipod in January and the same thing started happening to me yesterday.

Did you have any luck in Dixons??
