32/37 ' lcd tv. any experts??

    Hi Guys

    i want to buy a 32/37' lcd tv for my boyfriend as a present.
    1. would it be worth waiting till after christmas to buy in sales
    2. any one have any ideas of makes and models to go for. my budget is about €1500.
    3. what features to get?


    info: live in dublin
    doesn't watch sport
    ntl analogue tv.
    may get ntl digital in future but won't be gettin sky.


    any help would be much appreciated

    You'll get a much better response on this thread to your questions.

    Make sure it's future proof, ie HD ready. Would want to have a HDMI connection on it and a good response time of around 8ms.
    NTL analogue will look pretty crap on it so I'd get the basic digital pack to get a good picture.

    With your budget you'll get a fairly good set. Stick to the known brand names,Samung,Sony,LG,Panasonic etc.

    If you have an eye on a TV get the model number and head over to www.avforums.com and do a search with the model number. Great place for user reviews.
