Does my computer accept IDE or SATA drives?

Simple question, how do I find out the answer without opening up my computer.
It's a Dell Dimension E520 purchased just 4 weeks ago.

Also, I want to buy another smallish hard drive(or 2).
What's the best way to set them up?
Would it be possible to use a RAID(I've heard good things about this)?
How would I go about this, and would it be worth my while?

This would appear to indicate for certain that it's SATA. I'd have said SATA anyway given that it's a recent purchase.

As for adding another two internal hard drives, the machine has room for a total of two without trying something utterly complicated with the extra 5.25 bay and a PCI card. To be honest, without trying to be condescending, if you're concerned about how to find out if your PC supports IDE or SATA without opening the case, I'd limit yourself to adding a second drive without messing about with RAID.

How about adding an extra drive via the USB port? Simplicity itself and even PC World have some pretty good deals on external drives at the moment (which frankly shocked me but anyhoo)

The E520 has only SATA. No IDE.
There is also only room for 1 extra hard drive, unless you get a mounting kit to fit a hd in the empty CD drive bay.

Well it's not because I don't know how to check if it's SATA or IDE, moreso that I'm lazy, and couldn't be bothered opening the case.
Also I said "Without opening up my computer" just in case someone came here saying "open it up and check" which is not the response I was looking for.
    Also, I already have a 320GB external 3.5" drive, 80gb 2.5" drive and a 60gb 2.5" drive.
I'd rather have an internal drive because the physical space on my desk is limited already, without having another external drive.
Also the external one I have already is pretty noisy when on.

Well your responses helped anyway. Thanks.
