    Hey, does anyone know if their is a decent program similar to Garageband, except compatible with windows?

    before you go splashing out on anything "pro" may i suggest waiting for next months issue of Computer music magazine which will have Magix music maker 2007 software on the cover DVD.

    Cubase, energyXT, Ableton Live, Traktion, Reason, FL Studio, Audiomulch, Pro Tools, Digital Performar, Sonar, Nuendo, the list goes on...

    But the problem is do all those free (or not free) progs install one or two gigabytes of samples and loops etc that GB does? (mine is in excess or 2.5gb at present!)
