No, this isn't actually about the open-day. Noticed the following bit on here...
    The Nintendo Wii UK Tour

    13 December
    Trinity College Dublin

I wonder if Admissions Office had anything to do with this - come to Trinity! We have a Wii!

But on the topic of the open day, there's information in a link here: http://www.tcd.ie/Admissions/admissions_info/open_day.html

Anyone viewing who is thinking about going? Need some questions answered about what's where? There's a useful map of Trinity available here which should help you on your way.

The Wii is also at the UCD open day. hopefully should have one by then anyhow.

Also be warned, I shall be sitting in my living room throwing stuff out at people who dare to disturb the silence of new square.

Hmmm...even if I do get one Friday, I can't open it until Xmas.

I may have to come in to the Open day to get my fix, under the pretence that I'm helping my 6th year friends find their way around.

"Yeah...Arts Building is over...there, somewhere. If you want me, I'll be here next to the Wii...for quite a while." :D

Ah, just tell your parents how much you want to "invest in your future" and really "examine your options" and they'll surely give you a note to get off school if the school won't let you go.

Those phrases work a charm for anything

My little brother can't come to the open day. His school has a day off, but his Maths teacher wants the class to go in and do a full day of Maths. Instead, he's going to come up some day he's off, and Ibid, b.ie curious and I shall give him a tour!

I remember open days...best one i took a day off for was the hotel management school, got a 4 course meal for lunch! :)

I don't know for sure. We had to do the odd day like that too. Our teacher was, in his own words, "very meticulous", i.e., he explained things very rigorously and it took a lot of time, but I suppose it paid off.

    I agreed to nothing!

How does one pronounce Wii? Is that the thing Pat was playing with on the Late Late Toy Show?

That could be something completely different. It's "wee".

Hm, wonder if the CS open day talk will be any better this year...
I remember reading the equivalent of this thread and posting in it last year, when I was in sixth year. And here I am...
