Hey hope this is in the right section. I work in a community project that have 10 computers where we run compuiter courses and class's.

We let kids in to use them in the evening but boys being boys they try to look porn and play stupid sex games on it.

Obviously i cant let this happen so need to get software or ban them!!!!!!!1

As much as i would like to ban them for life:D it is not the answer.

Can people suggest whats options are available to me given that we are a not for profit organisation.

    thanks

Firewalls, most firewall packages have an admin setup that allows you to block access to these sites, Setup on norton for my Bro-inlaw when he was giving his son a laptop , also , think it can be setup using Zonealarm as well. But there are plenty for freeware firewalls out there , check downloads.com and snapfiles.com
im sure you will find something that can help you

A local host-based system is a bad idea. If the kids have local access to the system one way or another, they'll get around it. You should use a proxy with filtering software on it that the rest of the networks have to pass through.

Have a look at smoothwall, ipcop, clarkconnect, that kind of thing - most of them have community-written web filtering systems.

    stop it at source: ClarkConnect

It comes with dansguardian which is excellent web-filtering software. With clarkconnect you also get a web server, firewall, FTP, email, domain controller, file server and a whole load of other goodies.

If you were running a [Linux] proxy, I'd suggest Dan's Guardian.
