I was messing about getting killed by 9 year olds on live last night on GoW :) [damn people with better skilz than me!]

I then had a look over the achievments before going to bed, and saw the two active reload achievments? I thought I was doing the active reload every single time, but dont have them?

[I think one of them is to do 25 perfect active reloads and the other is 5 in a row]

So what is the difference between a 'regular' active reload and a 'perfect' active reload?

Its explained in the manual and has a pretty good diagram, tells you the diference between both.

A perfect active reload is when you get it right on the thin white line, it gives you a more powerful shot

As 0ubliette said, if you time it just right, you'll hit the thinner solid white line, your ammo (top right) will start flashing.

Yep, as above, get it in the white part and your bullets start flashing and you get increased damage for a while. Probably easiest to do on the Lancer (chainsaw gun) or the shotgun. Do three ARs on the lancer then the rest on shotgun or whatever because for each consecutive AR that you get in a row the "sweet spot" becomes smaller.
