Maybe contact Mullen Sports on Capel St, they've certainly carried some weightlifting footwear in the past...

    pullumsports in the uk

    they are pricey though.
I got mine off glenn pendlay and they were much cheaper and better quality but not as flashy looking
cant seem to find the link now.

remember unless you are buying them specifically for an olympic weightlifter then dont bother. a powerlifter as dave should use chucks for flat sole.

i dont really use mine anymore since they really do affect muscle recruitment and target the quads more

I bought a pair of adidas off the Sportshoes.net site you mentioned there.....
I had to get them online due because i couldnt find my size anywhere!

Best investment Iv made in the gym. provides a rock solid platform for all the Olympic lifts. Currently working hard on my overhead squats, hot a milestone of 65kg for 3 last night! Could go heavier but im still working on the balance aspect.

worth it if they mainly to be used for olympic lifting, otherwise, Converse allstars or similar do the trick very nicely indeed.
