Is this price for real ????. I'm guessing with shipping it's gonna be 650 yo yos and with customs around 800...not bad for a standard eh?

Doesn't look like the headstock was broken off, it sure looks like the top the headstock suffered some damage though. Not the whole damned thing though.

Youd be amazed the amount of people who cant spot fairly obvious things like this. Its fine with reputable companies like ishibashi (they mention the break in the text), but theres tonnes of unscrupulous people whod sell something like this in the B&S without mentioning it.

Where large sums of money are involved, always do your homework and ask as many people as possible.

03 year make Gibson LP standard. Because breaks into the neck and there is a repair mark, especially service at this price! The [tora] eye of body TOP has come out cleanly. Quick person victory!

As i said, theres nothing necessarily wrong with the guitar, the repair job could be top notch, and the ARE discounting it because of the damage. So its a personal preference whether its worth the price or not.

Alls im saying is, personally, i wouldnt buy it without seeing it, and playing it.

It would be always a niggle in the back of my mind that it had been damaged and repaired no matter how well it was done. Apart from the back, it is a beautiful guitar though. Its a good deal.

Id say at least one in a hundred Gibsons out there have had similar damage and repairs (maybe more, SGs are more prone than LPs).

I dont play Gibsons, so i dont have an opinion on how close the guitar can be restored to original in terms of tone etc (if done properly). There are plenty of guys out there who are happy enough (may be blissful ignorance) with the fix.

Again, once you know what youre getting, and are happy with the discount, its a personal decision.

Put it this way - It's not going to break at the same spot again as long as the repair was good.
