StreetFighter II on Live - AGGHHHH!

After being addictted to SFII when growing up in seedy arcades the fact it was downloadable on Live! and playable online nearly singlehandly got me hooked up to broadband and Ha-Yuken'ing away like a madman.

But what should have left me with blistered thumbs from dragon punches and grinning like a fool has infuriated beyond belief when playing online.

I can accept that when ever you add "humans" there is going to be human behaviour, i.e pricks and cheaters, it's just the way the world is.
I can accept a beating from a more skilled player and can't help but laugh when I get demolished in 5 seconds!
I can accept inane "smack talk," from teenage Americans.

I also know this isn't an arcade and that as your opponent isn't 1 foot to your left that the sense of honour and fair tactics won't be as prevelant so sonme players will use cheap tatics like continually jumping in and then throwing after you've blocked etc..
But what's neraly impossible to accept is the sheer ubiquity of it!

In 90% of matches I'v played this seems to be the norm, players picking characters like E.Honda and just continually using the hundred hand slap (I reckon they have to be using some sort of turbo controller as there's no way they could be hitting the fierce punch botton that fast,) that takes half your eneregy in one hit!

As soon as I see some-one pick E.Honda or Chun Lee I groan but grudgingly get on with it.
Where's the fun in this! Bah, SFII I loved you once.

They did that in the Arcades too, and on the Super nintendo when I used to play it years back :(

A popular one was M Bisons slide kick thingy. People used to do that, and only that over and over..
