I have to say that I was realy moved by Millie Murray-Mcnamara's appearance on the toy show

If you weren't moved then you are either dead or have a heart of stone

    here is the video

I have to say it is quite overwhelming. It could be the fact that I have been writing about this in the blog since September or something, nonetheless it is worth watching.

Agree totally, my dh and I were trying not to get upset. What I found sad was that her brother wasn't there but she looks healthy and more importanly happy. Pat better have given her the toys, I presume all the kids who come on get to keep something and then the rest goes to charity.

No all the toys go to children's charities. Nothing to do with RTÉ afaik, it's a Smyths and Ken Black decision. Being on the toy show is the prize for the kids who get through the tens of thousands who want to be on it.

But I'm presuming she got to keep the massive bear from Shayne Ward, since he brought it on for her.

Was good to see that she's making a good recovery

On another note, VoicesofLimerick (Local Mixed voice choir), recently raised €7000 for both Gavin and Millie. Its very very encouraging to see the kindness of people in situations like this. :)
