So I had my ear cut to a 12mm on thursday.

all's been grand till this evening. I was workin away and next thing one of the girls was like 'Emz... Your, eh, ear is bleeding!!!'

And I was dripping (No exaggeration here!) blood from my ear. I kept cleaning off the blood and then I thought, maybe it needs to clot a bit to stop bleeding. Sure enough I left it, but it just kept dripping down the side of my face....
So I get home (Terrifying people on the 19a!! Hahaha!) and it just stopps bleeding. Weird like.

Just wonderin is this normal? And what should I do the next time??

It can happen in the heat, but unless you were somewhere abnormally warm in this weather I wouldn't bet on it. I had the same problem while wandering in town after having my helixes done in the summer, but that was because of the weather. Popped back into Snakebite and apparently it's perfectly normal.

meep, same thing happened to me t'other day, gave my friend a hug, accidently bumped my ear (didnt even feel it) then was in formed that i had infact bled on her...a quick glance to her now shiny bloody hands confirmed this. The next day or so twas like it was new+it bled whenever i was in an office or somewhere suitably stuffy, but it's all settled down again.

-my guess, you just bumped it a bit+since you were warm in work it bled merrily away. be gentle.

It doesn't even need a bump, can happen spontaneously.

well her ear was scalpelled! bump or not, it's not something that should cause too much surprise and freaking out!

Personally i'm against scappelling ears and punching them as you can knick one of the main blood supply vessels which in turns starves the near and it turns black and dies very nasty tbh. It should stop with a bit of tlc but keep an eye on it

Yeah, I was told that after. It's grand now, no probs. Think it was cos I was lookin after it too much and I reckon I cleaned off the scab far too quickly at the start. All's good now. Get the next one done in a few weeks.

Scalping is a bit of an extreme mod, maybe she should stick to just scalpelling for the moment :p
