Thought it might be a mistake but it really was there and will be until the 14th December. Must be year end results coming. All we need now are some decent systems. I was slightly tempted by this at 393 delivered but i'll wait for something better if it comes along.

is this for real? I've been tempted into thinking of a buying a laptop by the pc world ads of a Compaq laptop for €650....any good?

Think they've copped on, I had a core2duo midweek in the basket for €550 but got them to cancel the order so I could reorder it with a monitor. Bad move, they're at least €100 dearer since.

The Dell Outlet can have some really good deals. But not all the time. Just keep an eye on it and check it once a day and sometimes a bargain pops up. They seem to get snapped up fast.

At the moment I'm not seeing anything too amazing, 140 off or not. Anyone would think they put their prices up at the same time offering 140 off! Certainly its a lot more expensive now on the outlet than before the 140 offer started.

Brother got a great deal on an Inspiron 6400 core2duo laptop. Saved himself about €500 on an equivalent laptop on their main website.

just the one email saying that the order has been accepted,
i got no emails about shipping dates etc
