Anyone tried any of these out? I bought a pair specifically to use on airplanes but the sound was shoite and it blocked out only a tiny portion of external noise?

Most seem to advertise a reduction of 10db in external noise but the price between them all varies dramatically!

    Any recommendations?

I got sonys this weekend for €50, they're really good. you have to make sure you have the right size ear bud attachment thingy though. I think mine are Sony MDR EX81 or something. I like them anyway...

I got a pair for my K750i - I tried all the different size buds but they won't stay in my damn ears!
