Install the missing driver, it's more than likely your Graphics Card driver that's missing, although, on occassion when this has happened to me, it has also been the Monitor driver too.

you should have a driver CD that came with the laptop, if not go to the dell site put in your service tag and it will tell you your PC specs and then search for drivers.
