    Hi,

quick question, i recently got the new Zen W(widescreen) from states. The power adapter has a slide off american plug. basically can i remove the plug and use say lead off playstation(plug bit that leads to ps2 adapter) into the adapter without blowing up the creative zen player?

    cheers

It's a standard figure-8 connection on the adapter, isn't it? Is there a sticker on the adapter somewhere that says what voltages it takes? (This will usually say 110-240V input) - Check it. Should be fine.

model no is TESA1-050240 of adapter
    says input is 100-240VAC 50-60HZ
    output 5v 2.4A

so should be safe enough to use playstation cable?
