Seriously, are you having a a laugh? Exams starting a week after the xmas/new years festivities....UGH. The thought of study over that period just repulses me.

What are library hours like over xmas period?

Meh, I've seen exams starting a lot earlier. I once had exams running for 1 1/2 weeks from the 4th of January.

Hrm. http://www.tcd.ie/library doesn't have the opening hours after the 14th of December.

You know you have access to the 1937 Reading Room as a postgrad, right? Or is it materials in the library which you won't be able to access?

Aye, in the 1937 room atm. Would prefer access to the materials in the library though. Hopefully I can make do with online journals and databases (never as good though).

Exams are for LLM btw, only have 3 exams and they still managed two in one day. Hah.

You can't take them out with your postgraduate bond yoke?

Yep, I checked this out too. Apparently BLU closing on the 22nd/23rd and re-opening the 2nd. But I might have gotten those dates wrong.

But more importantly, working after-term appears to be optional :).
