My Best Friend's Baby's Baby and My Baby's Baby =

Part 1: My (JD) Best Friend's (Turk) Baby's (Carla) Baby = Carlas baby.
Part 2: My (JD) Baby's (Uhhh... whatsername) Baby = Whatsernames baby.
    :p

    Ah, it' Kimberly Wyatt.

Roffles at Dr. Cox's hair in that one, "Ya look rediculous..."

Yep.. was quite a decent opener. Not amazingly funny either but a couple of funny moments in there.

The "Bye Bye Bye" scenes were hilarious.. especially with Kelso interrupting asking them to shut it off and then cutting back to him dancing! :D

Pretty ropey episode. Even tho I'm a fan I'm glad this show is ending this season as it seems to be only getting gradually worse with each new series.

Brilliant episode. Loved the Nsync ringtone which was classic Scrubs and JD's almost Vegas wedding.

Highlight was JD explaining how he got Elizabeth Banks character pregnant.

say for instance I knew whereby people can watch this episode, would it be against the charter to reveal this information, or would this be considered as piracy

Another great episode last night.. definitely a stronger start to this season than last season. Some hilarious moments..

    Loved the bit
with Turk, JD and the band in the car at the drive-thru. Forget the drummer's name - i'll just say Marcus: "Marcus.. if you don't stop drumming, you won't get any fries!.. 23 cheeseburgers, 23 cokes and 23 fries... no, 22.... you happy now?!" :D

Should we keep it or dump it bit? Then the reveal to the pizza slice!

    Justin... hilarious! :D

Weakest bit of it was probably
    the Jesus stuff

Anyways.. as i've said, much stronger start to this season. This episode was very funny.. most of it felt like pre-season 4 'Scrubs' which is the way to keep going.

    I hate musical episodes, YAWN.
We get it your all great actors and can also sing. Not in the slighest bit humorous for a programme that is supposed to be a sitcom!

I don't know about that. I thought it was the best ep so far of Season6. At least it was better than a Simpsons musical episode.

Simpsons is just a lot of lazy assed shít what with them taking already-existing songs and then simply changing the lyrics. Any chump can do that.

"You're the only man who's been inside me!"

(waiting for someone to tell me that all these Scrubs tunes are just re-lyriced songs that I haven't hear of now)

Just watched episode 7 it was amzing i love kelso and a kelso episode was what i was asking for and i got it. Threw in a great iraq episode aswell 10/10 for episode heres to season 7 if they keep it up, they showed they can do an episode without JD he did **** all in this epsiode and it was the best of this season

    That episode was WEIRD. Firstly,
it was a walking starbucks commercial through and through; though that wasnt the name of their coffee shop, the cups, the layout, the staff's dress, EVERYTHING was identical to a starbucks shop, and placement was rampant throughout the episode at a disgustingly high rate
    .

    And then
they could have done a lot more with the Kelso story thing. He is one of my favourite characters but they turned him into a total bell-end. Swooning over the war hero and becoming a nancy boy with the nurses? That's not the Kelso we all know and love. I was hoping for a much more ruthless edge to the comedy in this episode and was left very disappointed
    .

How was it product placement when there was no company name given? It was a parody of how commercialised it has become, that they have a coffee shop in the hospital...they were slagging off places like starbucks, not promoting it.

I thought this was a great episode, kelso is great and it had some of the funniest moments in a long time.

Fraid i have to disagree... thought it was quite a weak episode.

The stuff about the war in Iraq just felt a bit outta place in the episode - not a particularly humourous topic in the first place.

Found a lot of Kelso's stuff fell flat - 'An Officer And A Gentlemen' bits was especially cringe-inducingly unfunny.

It was product placement for the reasons I gave in my previous post; the cups, the layout of the coffee shop, the attire of the workers and the profuse placement of these items (especially the cups) throughout the whole episode. I'm all for taking the mick out of product placement, but they went down the wrong route by making their product SO similar to Starbucks it was essentially 20 minute advertisement for them.

you do understand how advertising works, right? product placement involves a product. like when in a show someone blatently says...lets take the yaris, and they show the car,and then they get in the car and it has all these nice features. Companies pay shows for advertising! thats how a lot of their money is made. starbucks the name wasn't mentioned, therefore starbucks would not have paid any money to scrubs or nbc. do you really think they would give a company free advertising? not a chance in hell! its not how it works. If the show wanted money they could have easily went to starbucks and said we will use your name and they would have jumped at the chance at the advertising since scrubs isn't doing too bad in the ratings (last time i checked anyway.)

This was not product placement,it was a parody on companies like starbucks.

    QFT - it's a parody! It's not product placement!!!

As to the episode, Kelso was too soft. We needed more meaness. Oh well can't win 'em all.

I'm assuming you either have access to a declaration from the Scrubs head honchos that they didn't receive any money, or perhaps Mr. Lawrence gave you a buzz and told you? Either way I'd be extremely interested in how you got said information, of which you seem so certain.

I'm also staggeringly impressed at how you have missed my point entirely, yet still seem that a condescending description of product placement somehow achieves anything. It doesn't. Now I'm assuming one of either two scenarios are true here: (a) either you have a bit of a problem with the old "ego" combined with some formal education in the financial paradigm, or (b) one of your immediate family were killed or harmed by someone involved in the advertising business (in which case I sincerely apologise). Both cannot logically be true, however, seeing as scenario (a) would render you indifferent to scenario (b), but we won't go into that right now.

    I told him.
Christa Miller told me when i was in bed with her the other night.

Ok, so that's a complete lie, but I'm with the parody people.
This isn't the first time they have featured that particular coffee shop on the show. There was an earlier episode which had a second one open just down the road from the first and poor Ted was stuck at the end of both queues. Again, this was a take on the ever increasing number of starbucks, but not an endorsement of their product.
South park have done the same (Harbucks) and the Simpsons mentioned the company by name and showed the loge.
In the case of the Simpsons, you could argue in favour of product placement (even if they were taking the piss) but I don't see that arguement standing up here.

As for the episode itself, i found it middling.

I just see them wrapping things up from here on.

Oh sarcasm,I like how you use it to actually mask the fact that you are making no valid points whatsoever. Don't be so ridiculous,it is not a condescending description,it is the accurate description. I just finished a course last semester on this exact topic.

And no,I did not miss your point,I was just explaing how your point was just plain wrong :)

Its odd how few people liked this when me and my mates watched it we where in bits laughing, i had high hopes the episode would be popular and that they would show the fans that an episode (a series) can be done without JD , he had so few lines in this ep.

The worst episode of scrubs i have seen was last weeks singing episode

Bit weak on the comedy front this week methinks..

... but that ending was fantastic - very unexpected and very drama-ish for a Scrubs episode. I know they've fused them together in the past but that was definitely very dramatic.

PS - oh, and the doctor doing Kim's ultra-sound at the end of the episode was TV Guide columnist Michael Ausiello (www.tvguide.com/AskAusiello) who gives us the latest scoops on 'Lost', '24', 'Prison Break' etc. Saw him interviewing Zach Braff when the season started and he explained briefly that he'd a minor role as a doctor doing an ultra-sound in the episode.

yeah what the hell was that all about. the show itself was ok, as you said short on laughs but better than last weeks and the musical one the week before

I dunno I think its running out of steam very quickly since the start of season 6. No laugh out loud moments anymore and really contrived storylines

Hey! I hope you're not talking about Journey there...

Didn't think Ep 8 was all too bad, but they deffo could have used Brown Bear on the trip alright! Kinda balanced out last week's absence of JD with a bit of a JD-fest (back to normal I guess) too.
