Sweet! nice pre emption and use of the hands before the strike. Looked like the guy was ready for some action.

Brilliant! love the way he distracted him, and then in for the strike.

Looked like more of a push anyway, which means he probably did not bust him up too bad.

love the line "or I ll give you the Tazer!" ha ha

I think this is another example of a badly trained police officer seeing the red mist and reacting in an unacceptable and unjustified way.

I may be missing the subtlies of the situation however. The guy in the shorts had his hands in his pockets and was asked to stand down or walk towards the police car. He didn't move. He was asked several times so he was hopped.

Ok, getting slammed like that is better than getting shot but was the officer correct in doing so? I think in the USA much so in ireland if you don't obey the officer you can risk getting a serious beating.

Clearly a race attack too :D

I dunno. At first it looks like the cop lost it, but once grounded the situation was swiftly brought under control.

I think I'd rather a swift one to the neck like that than be tazered and crap my pants!.

Thats for sure... never get smart with a cop in the USA, more than likely a few digs, and a night in the cells.

same in canada, I was 6 years over there, and I saw similar incidents, and similar reactions from the cops. plus when they get you in the back seat of the squad car, it not unknown for them to throw a jacket over you, and give a few digs on the way to the station.

See you never know in the USA, who is carrying a pistol, that why the cop had to react the way.

The smart ass was lucky he did not get a blast of the stun gun, or worse.

Course he was. The guy wasnt responding to the cop and refused to show his hands which meant he could have been armed. The cop looked like he was in control of his actions all the time and did the right thing.

heres a clip of what happens when cops underestimate weapons. Note: graphic violence ahead:

Or the USA cops could be more like the RUC cops was up the North, and just shoot you dead and not even ask questions later.

tended to happen a bit, if you were the wrong religon.

that was a nice controlled way of taking the guy down for an easy arrest.

guys like that are looking for you to hit them or start it off so that they can go ga-ga and try to blame you for it!!

i teach a similar take down (based on the "Whats the Point" article in the last Irish Fighter and in the media section of my site). nice to see it in action. although the guy did seem a bit dopey??

    WARNING VERY GRAPHIC FIGHT

Do not watch if easily offended!

the only reason why i post it is because i think it shows the reality of multiple attacker situation. also so that this doesnt happen to him again should he

    a. do a SD course so he can fight off a load of angry skinheads or

    b. avoid trying to start fights!! you can see he purposefully throws himself into someone to get them going, then puts on a knuckleduster

at the end of the video you can see he's just some immature kid who thought it would be 'cool' to have a weapon. he defineatly didn't deserve what he got but he learned a harsh lesson which i doubt he'll forget and he didn't seem too badly hurt.

wow nasty beating he took alright. God knows why he tried to bring his man to the ground in a rock concert! They had a field day stomping on him. Nice to see he was cognitive after the event. Lesson learned no doubt, but completely avoidable.

lol i think an even bigger question than his chosen strategy is why would he want to start a fight in the first place and pull out a weapon!

I don't think it was his aim at the outset to take the guy to the ground and pound him, i think he just got a few digs and jumped into close the distance and once it tried to pick the guy up.

He got a couple of soccer kicks to the head. People have died for milder beatings then that. He's a lucky, but highly stupid teenager.

ahh yes, the good old days of violent gigs, i had an MRI on me knee today thanks in part to that era's damage

Anywhoo, people who stand at the edge of mosh pits throwing in cheap shots in are vermin. Wannabe punk boy looked like he got what was coming.
