well all the buttons on the remote work fine but i cant seem to control itunes with it anymore(frontrow still works) not necessary but it was handier than minimising wht i was doing to change song

Quicksilver has an iTunes plugin; lets you easily change songs.
It's one of the essential Mac apps.
