    i deleted a partition of my harddrive by going into administative tools, now i dont know where it is gone?? i thought that it would just delete the letter? do i lose all the storage space that it had?

    You could try this program, see if it can find the partition, I'd say chances of it working are not too high, good luck

    you just need to reassign the partion with a drive letter. it should still be there.

    katie - what exactly did you do? If you selected the Delete Partition then you have destroyed that partition. The space is now unallocated and you'll have to create a new partition to use it - however all existing data is gone.

    If you just removed the drive letter then you can re-assign a drive letter to it and all data will be there.

    Katie - If you have deleted the partition you should see a bit that says "unallocated Space". If you do see this create a new partition and do a quick format. Don't worry about losing data by formating it as this software will recover it:

    I have used this on a drive that was rebuilt and still managed to recover photos, tis a cool bit of software.
