Hi, we just got our wedding rings today :D They are plain rings so we wanted something special inscribed on the inside. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.

If you're just getting an inscription for the sake of it to jazz up plain rings then don't bother inscribing anything at all. I think the inscription you go for in wedding rings should be something personal and special to you both, not something anyone else can tell you to put in there. Use your imagination and pick something that means something to you, or else be boring and put the wedding date on the inside.

The wife and I had the date inscribed. It's a matter for personal taste i suppose

"I thought I told you never to take this ring off"

    "If found please return to..."

    "Ring me"

Put her name on the inside of your ring and your name inside her ring.

Yeah my sister and her husband got each other's name and the date on the inside of theirs.

    It's really nice.

    I like Hagar's suggestions!

On the Gerry Ryan Show this morning they had a woman on looking for translation to Irish of "Forever yours" to put inside her husband's wedding ring. I think the suggestions were "Le chéile go deo", "Leatsa go deo ndeon". My spelling might not be right but doesn't it sound so much nicer in Irish?

You won't believe this but I lost my own wedding ring this morning. I kid you not.

I was doing some work at the car and I took off my watch and ring, threaded the ring onto the watch band and put it on the roof of the car out of the way for safety. Doh! I drove off and was 6 miles away when I realized what I had done, I drove back like a madman and found it on the side of the road about a mile from where I live. Although my post earlier was half joking I'm now considering something like "Return to...".

Mrs Hagar would have killed me stone dead as this is already my second ring.
