Howdy all, I went into town a week or so ago at about 5/6am.
I like this photo but think there's not enough detail in it.

    What are your thoughts?

    Thanks

It is underexposed but to be honest I like it for some reason.

No I didn't have the tripod with me, I wasn't planning on
taking many pictures. Yes it's a pano B0rg.

    Thanks for the replies :)

Far too dark, crooked, badly framed. :)

Yeah, its a bit too dark but the reflections in the water do look quite nice at that exposure, I guess the darkness makes them a central feature which is nice.
Also the main pillars aren't stitched properly which is only a minor quibble.

I find when using PS to auto stitch its easier to leave the image as layers once arranged and then use layer masks to hid pixels to fit the different layers together like a jigsaw by using dark spots and sharp edges as the overlaps.

What was the point in going in at 5/6am? this very shot could have been taken at about 6 pm...

Other than the crookedness of it I like it!

Its not too bad actually, apart from being crooked. Keep it up. Do post again, or maybe give it another try. :)

Thanks for the replies, I only did a quicky in ps.
I mostly wanted to know if people liked it or if it was too dark.

    Cheers

Too dark, but not by much. Low light shots should look like low light shots. imvho.

They should also have loads more detail (smaller F stop, and tripod). Sorry.

    Merv.

I think that i like it!

Afraid it is underexposed. Using a tripod is a must for low light photography really. Go back and try again as its worth getting this one right I think.

I can see good sense for taking this shot in the morning.
    The muggers are asleep ;)
