there is a military vechicle society me thinks here in Ireland.
If you want spares for that Panhard, have a very quick chat with DOD,as there was an article in one of the British military vechicle magazines in the Summer monthsa about the Panhards and how they are going to end up being Irish army targets in Donegal pretty soon.

Thanks for the info, I am already a member of the MVCI here in Ireland and my Panhard is an ex Irish Defence Forces one and has its original Panhard flat 4 engine. The article in the UK Military Magazine during the summer, gave details of the models that were in the Glen of Imaal and being used for target practice.

I have an interest in military vehicles.....particularly in Irish Defence Forces vehicles.

It's great to finally see Panhards like yours in the hands of private owners here in Ireland. The DoD policy (until recent times) of either scrapping or exporting all withdrawn vehicles was crazy. So many old landrovers, lorries, etc have been lost to Irish enthusiasts over the years.

For example, I would like to own an ex-DF soft-top Landrover sometime in the future....but I expect most (if not all?) are now gone/destroyed?
