there's nothing great about selling drugs, his methods may have been ingenious but that does not make him great.

There's nothing 'bad' about selling cannabis either. Labelling him as a "drug dealer" conjures up images that do not accurately portray Howard Marks.

Selling cannabis does not of course make him automatically "great", but he's lead an interesting life and made an (Oxford) educated choice to go into the career he did, which worked out quite well for him (despite the 7 years in jail).

In fairness to him, though he dealt what is a very minor drug, he is an absolute legend from what I've heard/read! Very interesting life and am looking forward to reading Mr.Nice and the rest of his collection.

Considering his connections, it would have been so easy for him to get into Class A dealing and sundry naughtiness and shootings. He was called 'Mr.Nice' for a reason - the reason being he wouldn't deal in Heroin and Cocaine on a point of principal - despite both drugs being a lot easier to smuggle and being more profitable to deal in.

Considering at least one EU member state openly and legally allows the sale of the drug he dealt in, the cries of 'think of the children' will be openly laughed at, at least in my house.

bit of bizzare show what time on sunday are they recorded? quite funny, I glad they didn't have to resort to, funny animals stories or funny american crimes stories to fill the time, they always do that when theres always plenty of irish stories to talk about.

all look, token women on australian version also >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Thepanel.jpg

strangely most of the rest are actor/performers/screenwriters?

I thought it was wierd but funny. They didn't try to cover up the fact that things went to sh1t on them or that they were on a Sunday. Everyone was a little squeezed with the five people though. I still think Mairead Farrell is the funniest woman they have had on it. Not saying she's fantastic but still better than the rest of the 'I'm going to ask a serious question now' women brigade.
