i'm in 2nd year and i picked an elective that was for 1st years - i was wondering if my grade in it will be weighted on my GPA for this semester?

i've definitely got an A in the subject anyways so weighting won't cause too much damage if indeed there is weighting at all.

Commerce? AFAIK all your electives count towards your GPA no matter what level they are.
