It looks about right, but they don't give impedance for the speaker or type of wattage for the amp, so you'll have to email Thomann to find out for sure.

In continuing the theme, this would probably do for the mixer.

thanks man, that mixer looks good. Is there any advantage to having usb capability on a desk primarily used for live mixing?

You could bring a laptop and record the gig/practice. But otherwise no. There's a cheaper behringer eurorack/euromixer that is essentially the same thing without the usb.

That Eurolive speaker is 8 ohm, so the amp can supply 650W to each.
Behringer list more than one type of B215 and Thomann doesnt say which.
    The specs differ:

I've used the earlier version of that amp for the last 3 years and it still runs perfectly. Never given a moments bother. I use it to power two 15" subs.

Well, they used to have smaller ones which cost less. Looks like Thomann aren't doing them at the moment.

That speaker is only 600 peak wattage into 8 ohm. I'd guess the amps 650 watt figure is also a measure of peak. So they're pretty closely matched. Tbh, I'd be inclined to suggest you lose the amp and the speakers and get a pair of these instead http://www.thomann.de/ie/the_box_pa502a_aktives_fullrangesystem.htm. 400 watts RMS, self-powered and biamped. So better matched, better crossover, same power if not a little more, and more convenient because you have one less set of wires to worry about.

    True, but, er...
ATTENTION: Weight 34 kg -> too heavy for post, must be shipped with spedition.

I'd be more worried about this getting in and out of gigs ;)

34 Kg is no fun to lift around...

You know, 34 kgs is the weight of a child. :p

There's only about 10kg total in the difference, but I'd accept the point that it concentrates the weight. But in all seriousness, 34kg is still not a hell of a lot for a short lift. Tbh, if you don't know the correct way to lift something, the 23kg amp is going to do you damage anyway. All of these things should be on a trolley or in a flight case with wheels.

Of course 10 KG is 40% extra weight... :)

Lugging a weight is a (not very) small price to pay for playing in a band. Get whats best, but dont ignore the lugging factor completely imo.
Ive switched from my 28 KG combo (Which was a horse to lift - god knows the difficulty in lifting the 34Kg) to a head and two 2x12" cabs. Id prefer the 3 (or 2) light trips than 1 trip that nearly wrenches my arm from its socket.

Also, a very importand point about using speakers on stands live...

Drunken people are stupid! They could knock them dancing around and thats a big fukin problem if some girl has her head smashed open by one. When possible I try and keep the top low, close to the bin for stability even if it would sound better higher. Also if possibly I try to tie them to something so they cant fall.

    [anecdote]
It only has to save your ass once for it to have been worthwhile, and in my personal experience it has saved us at least twice.
The most recent time had my heart in my mouth. It was in a small pub with no really safe place to put the speakers. A guy knocked the speaker, then fell under it as it toppled over. The singer and a guy in the crowd jumped in and grabbed it just before it crushed his puny little head.
    [/anecdote]

Thanks god it wasnt 34 KG :)

    10kg is not 40% of 59kg.
