i hate football (and managers ridcolous comments!)

    well after a long and somewhat eventful season my club team lost only theyre second match all season, which alas was the county final saturday. on the sidelines through injury i looked on helpless as my collegues tried in vain to score,ended up losing by a point.
    in fairness the players blew it infront of goal etc and we played poor,however our sideline mangement went into hermit mode and watched on like dummies as the game slowly slipped from our grasps. with 10 minutes left,everyone panicing and shouting i suggested to manager that we spread the ball wide,something along them lines,which was greeted by string of expletives and "sure the f**kin game is over,we have it lost!" with 10 MINUTES left!!!in a county final!!!!i was amazed and sickened as the hole thing wasnt a joke.....so frustrating...football sucks

    We lost our U21 final too, really frustrating but basically finals are lost due to forwards just not performing.

    Man don't tell me about losing finals...
    I have been part over about 10 league and championship finals, unfortunately waz only played in 3 of them...That was the managements choice..
    The last Final debacle i took part in was also from the stands, after training hard all year and putting in more effort than a lot of the players who were starting that day, I had to look on from the sideline as we were ripped apart at the seams due to poor management.
    Changes were needed, I was an apt replacement for some of the culprits and was approached after the game by some of them and commiserated for not being brought on..
    That stuck in my gut, and last season because of college commitments i declined to take part because i knew i couldnt give full cooperation and commitment, this didnt go down well with management, but it was my choice..
    And now I have had to endure the clubs most successful year in over a decade, we finally won the Junior County Final, and now are preparing for the Leinster Junior Final in two weeks, serves me right doesnt it..or just bad luck..im not sure..
