Jaysus thats a good price. Dont know much about hicapas unfortunetly. Have a look over on www.arniesairsoft.co.uk and their should be some talk about em.Id say its a great buy though as WE are usually extremely expensive if im not mistaken

It is indeed a good buy, WE replicate designs by other manufactuers such as TM so they do not have to invest in R&D which is why the price is relatively low, combine this with a metal slide and you're looking at quite a bargain. Just be sure to use green gas or put in a weaker recoil spring if you are determined to use 134a.

Scope, are you thinking about WA? WE's are competitively priced from what i've seen :)

bad points i got from that article - sluggish recoil, bad gas efficiency and bad cool down rate.

you are able to get a co2 mag and use co2 cartridges. thought that was a pretty interesting addition.

nice looking gun though. excellent price.

Thanks guys. I think I will get mostly because of it been a full metal for that price. They even mentioned scopes trick with the propane, and now that we have found a viable supplier in Galway, happy days. As a side arm it should only be used in cqb and not really on rapid fire I feel myself and this would be my intention. All in all it seems to have gotten good reviews even though the few small problems. I am looking forward to adding it to my Sant List.:D
    Thanks again,
    Max.

Just remember, Propane is a substitute for green gas. Dont be using it in any Japanese guns or guns designed for less powerful gas.

The gun you;re talking about is based on a Marui design. So it mightnt be able to take propane

Yes indeed, Caution is required. This was taken from a review on arnies by coreyheidt. He posted a reply just after the main review was done. He says "Using HFC22 gas, you don't get near the performance you should. After a discussion with the distributor, he said for me to use red gas. RED GAS? Yes, red gas. That pretty much did the trick. Only that red gas isn't as easy to come by. So I moved in a different direction - propane. Getting the airsoft innovations' adapter has been a Godsend."

NOOOOOO!!!!! you're getting the wrong gun, you're getting the wrong gun!!! get THIS ONE!!! only 20 more and way better looking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,509 ✭✭✭SpitfireIV

That looks pretty cool!! ;) , and all metal too, nice! Now why didnt I include one of them on my Santa list, to late to re-write it now :p . I still cant figure out for the life of me how those full metal airsoft guns get through customs, they're practically the real thing appearance wise(I know they are 'toys', but they 'look' the real deal, apart from the orange tip, but will that stay on it?)

Dont like it. It looks big cumbersum. Dont forget I have to try and sneak it in. I have already forgone 2 extra mags for my sig. Only getting 4 instead of 6. Shes is to cute, would notice an extra 20 put on to it.:(

Yes ironwolf yes i am :o

Ive not researched em at all so ya got a bit confuzzled between WE and WA.

Ahh their both missing the natural beauty of a Beretta :p IMO. Just sanded down the barrel of mine [looks cool will get pics when my sister gives me her camera] and plan to sand the whole thing down to a hot chrome finish ;)

jaysus brillo pads must be taking you forever alright. I really want that gun damn it. how much was it in total after postage and all that jazz?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,518 ✭✭✭[--SC(+)PE--]

Im not 100% sure actually :o i bought it along with a whole host of stuff and halved delivery with a m8. It was about $135 perhaps [110 for the gun and about $25 delivery ] It gets a decent bit more expensive with extras like another mag a holster and a laser sight :p

So in total I'm looking at about €120 euro or so for a fully metal gun, postage and an extra mag? very nice indeed :D

yes but your one will be the only one modified with a brillo pad ;) I'm sure thats gonna give it one unique look.

Actually my mates girlfriend sent me a text tonight asking for advice on buying him an airsoft gun for Christmas. she nearly had a heart attack when i told her the price of a decent AEG. Pointed her towards that Beretta instead ;)

id be a happy little thing if someone bought that for ME this Christmas.

Bfsl have that gun for €152.00, not a bad price, and you don't have to worry about bringing it in.

€152.00 is really quite expensive if its for the gun alone.

The gun on ehobby is only €73. Under half the price. Plus i dont mind waiting 6 days for it to be posted ;)
