Why is my digital performer 4.6 shutting down

I'm currently attempting to learn digital performer 4.6. but it keeps shutting off unexpectedly. Would anybody by chance know how to put less of a load on the processor with different settings within the program?? I'm also running with a intel mac so i don't know if that may play a part in it. any help is good help.

I guess check the Mark of the Unicorn website to see whether its Intel Mac compatible, I know plenty of software isn't yet. If thats not the problem maybe you have a buggy release or something.
